We design spaces that are welcoming and functional to people of all ages and abilities

The World is Constantly Changing

A New Reality

Global demographics have shifted; we’re living longer and having fewer children on average than ever before. This has created a novel reality where, by the end of this decade, one out of every five people in the United States and 34 other nations, will be over the age of 65. Younger populations, which have long been the mainstay of our consumer base and workforce, are in decline.

The built environment in which we live, work, and play will need to account for a population that is not only older, but is also more likely to be confronted with the challenges of physical and cognitive decline, which have greater prevalence in later life.

THE SUPER AGE

THE SUPER AGE: DECODING OUR DEMOGRAPHIC DESTINY is now out! The book is available online at Amazon, as well as Books and Books, for those who want to keep their dollars local.
Malcolm Gladwell, Daniel Pink, Susan Cain, and Adam Grant’s Next Big Idea Book Club called it, “A fascinating look on our graying future.”
Publisher’s Weekly noted, “His insistence on a more thoughtful approach to an aging society is buoyed by his optimism and his dedication to justice and care for all citizens… Policymakers and business leaders, take note.”
There is great praise from other authors, luminaries, and leaders, including the CEO of Dow Jones and Publisher of The Wall Street Journal, Almar Latour, too!
